We are recruiting: we are hiring a skimming plasterer in Cochran County, Texas. The job is at a plastering and dry lining contractor. On a typical shift you will check walls for plumb and level as you go; dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming; fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads; set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work; polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush. Ideal candidate: • Able to mix plaster to the right consistency by feel • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish • Physically fit for lifting bags of plaster and mixing all day Part-time with flexible hours.
