Cnc lathe setter wanted in Peterborough

Vacancy available: we are hiring a cnc lathe setter in Peterborough, England. Requirements: • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection The role involves: • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
