Deboner — Genesee County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a deboner in Genesee County, Michigan. You will work in a hotel or restaurant butchery. You should have: • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter Day-to-day duties: • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Season and marinate meat on request • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts $20 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
