Immediate opening: we are hiring a catering cook in Doncaster, England. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards • Strong knife skills and speed on the line • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen The role involves: • Marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases • Follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces • Taste and adjust seasoning for consistency • Label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in • Plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service • Monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Meals and transport allowance provided. £2,650 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
