We are recruiting: press shop operator (Gombe State)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a press shop operator in Gombe, Gombe State. The job is in a metal fabrication workshop. The role involves: • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings What we are looking for: • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges Full-time with occasional weekends.
