Argon arc welder • Udalguri, Assam

Vacancy available: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Udalguri, Assam. You will work in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Day-to-day duties: • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal You should have: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
