Urgent requirement: we are hiring a head baker in Clinton County, Indiana. You will be based at a busy bakery. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • Able to work early-morning and night shifts • Food handler / hygiene certificate Your main tasks: • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch • Score the top of loaves before baking • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer $5,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
