Urgent requirement: we are hiring a horticulturist in Simpson County, Kentucky. What we are looking for: • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • Happy to work outdoors in all weather • Valid driving licence for travel between sites Your main tasks: • Apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds • Repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings • Plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease We offer $220 per day plus benefits.
