Now hiring: protective coatings painter (Illinois)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a protective coatings painter in Morgan County, Illinois. You will work at a busy decorating firm. Day-to-day duties: • Hang lining paper and wallpaper, matching patterns at the seams • Mask off windows, skirting and fittings with tape and sheeting • Apply primer, undercoat and two topcoats with brush and roller • Strip old paint and wallpaper with scrapers and heat guns Requirements: • Working-at-height / PASMA scaffold ticket an advantage • Able to read colour schedules and follow a finish spec • Able to mix and colour-match paints accurately Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $4,300 per month, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
