Great opportunity: abattoir worker (Zamfara State)

Immediate opening: we are hiring an abattoir worker in Tsafe, Zamfara State. You will be based at a wholesale meat market. You should have: • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day On a typical shift you will monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; stuff and link fresh sausages with casings; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools. 4+ years on the tools preferred.
