Immediate opening: we are hiring a hand presser in Falkirk, Scotland. The job is at a garment factory. Your main tasks: • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments Ideal candidate: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings 6+ years on the tools preferred.
