Immediate opening: we are hiring a machine operator (earthworks) in Cedar County, Nebraska. The role involves: • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers • Carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up • Swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs What we are looking for: • Valid CPCS/NPORS card or local heavy-equipment licence • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. We offer $180 per day plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
