We are recruiting: we are hiring a hydraulic crane operator in Bennington County, Vermont. You will work on a high-rise tower crane. Your main tasks: • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports You should have: • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging Full-time with occasional weekends.
