Urgent requirement: rigger (Imo State)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a rigger in Aboh-Mbaise, Imo State. You will be based on a high-rise building site. You will read lift plans and method statements before starting; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle. Requirements: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts.
