Now hiring: we are hiring a sausage maker in Rolette County, North Dakota. You will be based in a supermarket meat department. What we are looking for: • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler Day to day you will vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders; mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder; stuff and link fresh sausages with casings; season and marinate meat on request; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
