Estate gardener • Pierce County, Nebraska

We are recruiting: we are hiring an estate gardener in Pierce County, Nebraska. On the job you will handle: • Maintain compost heaps and the potting shed • Cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs • Plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings • Repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades You should have: • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
