Join our team: we are hiring a foundry operative in Ikara, Kaduna State. You will check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant. Ideal candidate: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry We offer ₦65,000 per month plus benefits.
