Urgent requirement: we are hiring a confectioner in Runnels County, Texas. Ideal candidate: • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks • 2+ years' experience as a baker Day-to-day duties: • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Roll out short-crust and biscuit dough • Decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream • Score the top of loaves before baking • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer $2,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
