Counter butcher wanted in Gregg County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a counter butcher in Gregg County, Texas. You will be based at a wholesale meat market. Day to day you will run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; weigh, price and label cuts for the display case. You should have: • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
