Great opportunity: bricklayer (Illinois)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a bricklayer in Cook County, Illinois. You will checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb. You should have: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools 1+ years on the tools preferred.
