Requirements: • Driving licence for measure-up and site-fitting visits • Able to read cutting lists and fabrication drawings • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop Your main tasks: • Wrap, label and load finished units for delivery without scratching the profile • Glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square • Insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it • Fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash • Drill drainage and pressure-equalisation slots in the outer frame • Install finished windows and doors, pack and anchor-fix them, then foam and silicone the perimeter 5+ years on the tools preferred.
