Urgent requirement: head butcher (Delta State)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a head butcher in Ukwuani, Delta State. You will work in a supermarket meat department. Your main tasks: • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools You should have: • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths 3+ years on the tools preferred.
