We are recruiting: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Modoc County, California. You will be based at a kitchen and furniture manufacturer. Ideal candidate: • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent Your main tasks: • Erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours • Assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles Performance bonus on top of base pay.
