We are recruiting: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Bauchi, Bauchi State. You will work in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. Requirements: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard The role involves grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal. At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
