Urgent requirement: we are hiring a pastry baker in Upton County, Texas. You will work in a hotel pastry kitchen. Your main tasks: • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards • Grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them What we are looking for: • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • Accurate at weighing and following recipes • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens Full-time with occasional weekends.
