Plant operator wanted in Smith County

Join our team: we are hiring a plant operator in Smith County, Tennessee. You will be based at a road and highway construction project. Day to day you will dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels; keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly; clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble; inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up; carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels. What we are looking for: • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing Rotating shifts. $19 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
