Core maker — Agatu

Join our team: we are hiring a core maker in Agatu, Benue State. You will work at a busy iron foundry. Day to day you will skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces. Requirements: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry Full-time with occasional weekends.
