Now hiring: foundry labourer (Delta State)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Ethiope West, Delta State. You will be based at a busy iron foundry. Your main tasks: • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant You should have: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor Meals and transport allowance provided.
