Earthmoving equipment operator wanted in Edwards County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an earthmoving equipment operator in Edwards County, Illinois. You will work on a quarry floor. Day-to-day duties: • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction • Operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site • Follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels • Backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil • Cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes What we are looking for: • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
