Horticulturist • Washington County, Texas

We are recruiting: we are hiring a horticulturist in Washington County, Texas. Day to day you will sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades; rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste; check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads; apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds; mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers; prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers. Requirements: • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish • Valid driving licence for travel between sites Performance bonus on top of base pay. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
