Immediate opening: banksman (Ohio)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a banksman in Madison County, Ohio. Requirements: • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket You will direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings. 1+ years on the tools preferred. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
