Now hiring: restaurant steward (Bauchi State)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a restaurant steward in Giade, Bauchi State. You will work at a beach resort. On a typical shift you will handle guest complaints and escalate to the captain or manager; pour water, wine and soft drinks and serve from the guest's left; coordinate order timing with the kitchen and the bar; polish glasses, cutlery and crockery during mise en place; punch orders through to the kitchen as a KOT (kitchen order ticket). Ideal candidate: • Prior experience as a waiter in a restaurant or hotel • Good knowledge of the menu, ingredients and beverages • Familiarity with POS billing and order-taking systems Full-time, day shift.
