Immediate opening: we are hiring a press operator in Dawakin Kudu, Kano State. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout The role involves: • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
