Prep cook — Putnam County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a prep cook in Putnam County, Missouri. The job is in a catering banquet kitchen. Day-to-day duties: • Keep the station clean and sanitised throughout the shift • Chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat • Prepare the mise en place before each service • Label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in • Knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha Requirements: • Good teamwork and clear communication under pressure • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies Six days a week, one day off.
