Immediate opening: we are hiring a plant operator in Marshall County, Illinois. You will be based at an injection moulding unit. Requirements: • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage • Knowledge of lockout-tagout and machine safety The role involves: • Set up and start the machine as per the job card • Segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches • Run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges • Load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
