Now hiring: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Tofa, Kano State. On the job you will handle: • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
