Immediate opening: fabrication workshop technician (Ohio)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a fabrication workshop technician in Hocking County, Ohio. The job is in the profile cutting and welding bay. Your main tasks: • Crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame • Check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals • Clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash • Fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam • Fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents You should have: • Comfortable handling and lifting glazed units safely • An eye for finish — no scratches, clean welds, flush beads Full-time with occasional weekends.
