Trowel-trade bricklayer • Etsako East, Edo

Now hiring: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Etsako East, Edo. You will be based on a scaffolded high-rise site. The role involves: • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints What we are looking for: • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
