Great opportunity: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Addison County, Vermont. You will be based on a busy construction site. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination The role involves climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; read and interpret the load chart before every lift; set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
