Restoration bricklayer • Orhionmwon, Edo

Join our team: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Orhionmwon, Edo. The job is on a scaffolded high-rise site. On the job you will handle: • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder You should have: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
