Now hiring: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Gamawa, Bauchi State. You will be based at a stainless steel fabrication shop. Requirements: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection The role involves: • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp 5+ years on the tools preferred.
