Urgent requirement: elevator repair technician (Bauchi State)

Now hiring: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Bauchi, Bauchi State. The job is on a lift modernisation project. The role involves: • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards 5+ years on the tools preferred.
