Port container crane operator • Clay County, Nebraska

Immediate opening: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Clay County, Nebraska. You will be based on a busy construction site. Day to day you will follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL); read and interpret the load chart before every lift. What we are looking for: • Current medical and eyesight certificate • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts 1+ years on the tools preferred. $4,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
