Now hiring: we are hiring a lathe operator in Chugach Census Area, Alaska. You should have: • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills You will top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels; monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift; record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet; carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
