Estate gardener — Van Wert County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an estate gardener in Van Wert County, Ohio. Day to day you will lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn; operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters; dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds; mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers; sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades; prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers. Ideal candidate: • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance Part-time with flexible hours. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
