Trainee butcher wanted in Berkeley County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a trainee butcher in Berkeley County, West Virginia. You will be based at a halal meat counter. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths Day-to-day duties: • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife • Season and marinate meat on request • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
