Horticulturist — Okanogan County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a horticulturist in Okanogan County, Washington. On the job you will handle: • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease • Maintain compost heaps and the potting shed • Lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers • Operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters What we are looking for: • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
