Urgent requirement: vertical transportation technician (Rivers State)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a vertical transportation technician in Etche, Rivers State. The role involves wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; measure rope tension and check for broken strands; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; run load and overload tests with test weights; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake. Requirements: • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
