Port container crane operator • King William County, Virginia

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a port container crane operator in King William County, Virginia. The role involves: • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams You should have: • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Strong attention to safety and load limits • A good head for heights for tower crane work Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Pay around $190 per day, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
