Vacancy available: we are hiring a milling machinist in Cottle County, Texas. You will work at a busy machine shop. Ideal candidate: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces The role involves measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control; carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe. At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Contact us to fix an interview.
